This book though, didn't have as much romance. It got spunk, romance, sexual tension, and well, everything. I can honestly say that Night Huntress is one of the best series I've ever read. That's not fair since Bones haven't met Kat yet, but it still broke my heart!īesides that, this is a book you don't want to miss if you're a Bones lover like me. I almost died and had to close my eyes (literally) when Bones touched and thought of other women. This isn't going to be a very long review, basically because there isn't so much to say and I don't want to post any spoilers, but I have to say one thing: One click later and BAM, I had my own little Bones POV in my Kindle.

So when I saw this book, I just had to get it. I have to confess, I've lounged after a Bones POV a long, long time. In this book, you get a look inside Bones head. Bones is like this fantasy, dream guy that only Kat is allowed to touch. What can I say? I love anything that has this character in it. Reckoning is probably not the best introduction to the Night Huntress world but if you need something to tie you over until the next book comes out, what do you have to lose?Īh, Bones. Even though I found this novella to be somewhat deficient as a avid fan of this series, it's still a must-read for me. After reading Reckoning I'm curious as to how Jeaniene Frost made the leap from this to the amazing book that is Halfway to the Grave. There's no wit he's just going through the motions to get the job done.

I found Bones severely lacking in this novella. I didn't love this tale but then again, there's no such thing as a bad read when this series is concerned IMO. This short story was only previously available in the Unbound anthology and it's installment 0.5 in the Night Huntress series. I'm always jonesing for my next Cat & Bones fix so when Reckoning was released as a stand-alone novella I just jumped at the chance to start from the very beginning of this series.
